I'm finding that update KB947821 is stuck for some reason. It's been sitting at the same spot for a couple of hours now. Is this normal. It's the System Update Readiness Tool for Windows Vista, just so you know.

Don't worry, it's finished now, it just took a very long time.

Can I get this closed please?

Use System Restore to avoid mucking up Windows, then try applying the update by manually DLing it from MS's website: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/947821

Recall that Windows always creates a System Restore point just before installing any updates.

Fixed now. Just took a few hours. Thanks anyway.

Could a moderator please close this for me?

Edit: Damn, just checked, no moderators on at the moment...
