This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Update dilemma

    Hey fellow notebookers!

    My laptop NEVER stops installing updates. Every time I switch it off, I have to wait at least 20mins whilst it installs around 15 updates. What is going on?! Can anyone explain please?

    Also, a message has started to appear every time I switch it on: Install NET framework 4 or something along those lines. Anyone out here know what this means? :confused:
