i guess they will deploy that before sp1 over windows update anyways. still thanks for posting, just in case..
-
You may be right, but still, doesn't hurt to install it especially that it's directly from Microsoft
-
I haven't even popped the shrinkwrap on the Windows 7 Deployment tools yet. I guess now is the time to learn. :sigh:

yeah, even i get used to win7 currently. and if that doesn't mean something..
but no, won't install that thing manually. i just will remember it in case i can't install sp1 somewhere.. -
this will come via ms updates.. so if you dont want to install now you will end up getting it through update
-
why wouldn't you install it if it's readily available now and direct from MS?

why do the manual hassle if it's not needed? they should get it deployed before sp1 (which is another year away anyways). there is no use for it before that day. i have tons of systems to manage, going manually trough all of them is useless hazzle.

unless that update includes a blacklist to invalidate all of the questionable keys being sold on ebay..........
The statement "especially if it is from Microsoft" ignores a lot of variables. -

which doesn't prove that it couldn't invalidate questionable keys sold on ebay..

yup. Out of cycle updates from MSFT usually have multiple purposes.
