Update for Windows Live Essentials Mail 2012 (KB3093594). @Ashtrix @Mr. Fox @toughasnails @hmscott @Matrix Leader
In the email from the spy company *In a few weeks, we will be making some changes to our email services that might impact your @outlook.com, @hotmail, @LiVE, or @msn email account. Those changes will prevent your email from being delivered to the Windows Live Mail 2012 application you use*
They also advertised about the new colored tile junk in the same email; We also recommend all Windows Live Mail users on Windows 7, Windows 8, and Windows 8.1 to upgrade to Windows 10 and use the built in Mail application to stay connected and get the latest feature updates.
Is there anyone on the forum who have experienced problems with this update from M$ spyware company? Is there another hidden agenda with this patch? Seeing that there are several around the internet that advise against this update now. Should I wait with this patch? I use Win 7![]()

I don't know. I use Micro$loth Outlook client, or just webmail. Whatever they recommend, do exactly the opposite and you should be good to go.

LOL !!
Really whatever Micro$lop says is pure bullcrap, that spyware spewing corp.... -
It is perhaps best to wait with the patch until these mail clients don't work anymore.

I think I would find an alternative email reader, use webmail, or change services.
I know friends who have changed MS email services several times over the years as MS migrates from one email service to another.
Why couldn't MS simply change the underlying email services without changing the domain name every time? And since MS was in charge of those domains, why was email rejected from one domain instead of being auto-forwarded to the new user@domain.
It was very confusing trying to communicate with people using MS's email services every time they changed it. Email would bounce, I would need to find their new email address, and I couldn't simply reply to old emails, I needed to remember they changed their username@domain.
MS, you are such a bad example, it's good of you to always show us how to *NOT* do it

I use Windows Live Mail as my main e-mail program, so when I saw the notification, I had to get the updated application and then patch it, and then it didn't work so I tried to use a different program to check e-mail. And both the other programs I tried so far won't sync any more recent than April of last year. So I'm rather upset about the whole thing. And since my main e-mail address is on hotmail and I've had it for years, I really want it to work!

I use WLM 2012 but not their servers. I have not then got that email everyone is talking about either.
