    Update not detecting updates?

    My Windows Update hasn't found any updates since the 3rd of the month.

    Patch Tuesday came and went and she's detected nothing... any idea what could be causing this?

    You might simply not have needed anything at that point. If you're concerned, go to update.microsoft.com and have the system check for updates directly from there.

    ^ Yeah, and I would imagine Stewie meant no 'major' updates...

    Because I did get the Windows Defender Definition updates.. even till a couple of days back!!!!

    I've had issues with Windows Vista Update and had to go through some pretty crazy stuff to get it working again. The problems were do to Windows Update, updates. Start your Windows Vista Update and click "Check for Updates" and see if you get any error codes. If you get some errors check this thread

    Well, I thought about this, but this *update for windows update* happened pretty long back than the 3rd of this month.... So, I think its possibly something else or as Stewie said (and as I have seen myself too!), there was no major updates yet this month, if I remember well... can check again later though!

    To the OP > can you please check if you had the update for the Windows Update? It was a kind of "stealth update"... LOL...

    Yeah, MSFT is lagging on their monthly update. Should of came out last Tuesday. Most likely come out tomorrow.
