This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Update your games before installing Windows Vista SP1

    After a couple time trying to install games on my sys which is running Windows Vista SP1 unsuccessful, I tried to uninstall SP1. Then I installed the games and updated them before installing back SP1. The games work well, but a little slower than it was without SP1.
