When I turned on my computer this morning, I was prompted to install the update for Adobe Reader 9, and after I did, I opened Google Chrome to view some PDF files, but whenever I click on the link for the file, Chrome seems to "Freeze." (but I can press back and go back to the previous page, or refresh, which doesn't do anything). Before I used to be able to click on a PDF link and view the file in the Chrome window. Anyone else have this problem? Any ideas how to fix this?

Known issue.. You have a few options..

    1) Go back to Reader 9.1

    2) Install the latest beta of Chrome.

    3) In Adobe Reader, uncheck the option to display .pdf's in the browser window.

Some people have also reported having luck manually resizing Chrome when this happens, and then restoring it back to full screen.

That why you got multiple browsers installed.

Hmm not sure... you could try abandoning Adobe for Foxit (+browser plugin if req'd)...

I'm using Chrome (latest stable release) with PDFs open within (using latest Acrobat 9 Reader).

    Try re-installing Chrome.

The PDF file opens, but I have to resize the window for it to actually show up. If I don't, it just shows up as the page I'm viewing.
