There have been a lot of debates about the two versions of Vista. x64 can address more memory, but x86 has better support. However, if you have gotten the x86 version, and would like to upgrade to the x64 edition, please read this.

I thought everyone knew about this?

Unfortunately it only applies to owners of retail versions, which leaves out all of the pre-builts and scratch oem consumers (which are likely a majority of the market).

I have explaned the whole process in like 5 diffrent threads in detail
(including ways to do it without even spending the 10$)
Anybody that is eligible for the upgrade disk will get the piece of paper in there software package that tells them the process aswell.
x64 is doing ok for me, im doing this massive DX update right now that I hope will get rid of any other issues I have (only issue I have really is fraps wont show up on bf2142, and bf2142 has a few performance/crash issues)
Upgrade form x86 Vista to x64 Vista, for $9.95!
