There was a similar vid up to Windows 7 a while ago. It isn't exactly smooth, but the fact that it works is pretty amazing in itself.

I hope aliens don't intercept our internet communications and learn just how far we HAVEN'T really come.
We'll be easy pickings. -

If youre staying on x86 (32bit) Windows i wouldn't be surprised if some of the 16 bit software from 1.0x still ran on 8.1 and even 10.
But aside from a VM, no PC has the drivers to support every version of windows ever made (feel free to prove me wrong here). -
But the No PC have drivers that support every version of Windows, bothers me a little. (With Deep Pockets, you can.)
It would be correct to say Most consumer class hardware don't have official drivers that support every version of Windows ever made. -
I don't know, it seems like it's kind of cheating to start with MS-DOS 7.0. That wasn't available until a full decade after Windows 1.01. To fit in the timeline correctly, it'd be necessary to start with, what, PC-DOS 3.1?
Pretty impressive all in all though, and props on doing the work to get it to all work on one computer. I've made it up to Windows 98 so far, and in terms of install time, 9x sure seems bloated compared to 3.1 and earlier!
Now I want to go buy a 256 MB SO-DIMM so I can downgrade my RAM and put Windows 95 on my Core 2 Duo... -
Jumping from 1.0 to 8.0...wasn't this how Skynet started?

Upgrade from Windows 1.0 to 8 ... possible! :)
