    Sorry, I just need some clarification on this. If I buy the upgrade version of Win 7 can I still wipe everything off my Vista and have a fresh start? Same with XP?

    Yes - works like a charm, just choose the Custom option versus the upgrade. When done go to control panel and activate. Works great.
