I will be upgrading to W7 x64 from Vista x64 in a few days and have been following several forums on this subject.

After 1 week since the release on 22 Oct there appears to be a multitude of situations occcuring on upgrades for the x32 OS but not much on the x64 OS.

I would appreciate any comments from anyone who has upgraded the x64 and also those who have not, ARE THERE ANY MAJOR SURPRISES IN STORE FOR ME

    Thanks

There shouldn't be any major differences between the two. Any problems occurring in the 32bit version should have the same likelihood of occurring in the 64bit version, and very similar solutions.
