I know it's a little early for this but I figured I'd try anyway,

I'm currently running 32bit Vista. When Win7 comes out, I want to go 64bit. However, my laptop is a Vaio AR series and Sony doesn't support this line with any 64-bit drivers. Will I run into any real issues if I upgrade? I don't mean like the AV buttons the laptop has, I mean like my wireless card not working or something like that.

You might be force to do a clean install of W7 if you want to switch to 64-bit... But, W7 should pick up the hardware drivers needed, but I'm not sure about the extra buttons that are available, such as the media buttons on some laptops. You might be able to grab the 32-bit ones from Sony's website.
