    In the above image, I'm trying to upload a picture. I can't navigate via the left panel explorer. How do I fix this? I can still navigate using my keyboard: backspace, arrow keys, etc.

    I notice you're using a custom theme. Save your current theme and toggle back to the default Windows 7 theme and see if that solves your issues. If so, you're going to have to get a fix for that visual style.

    It doesn't look like the OP is in windows explorer. It looks like he is in imgur, a photo website. Those folders are on that site, not on his computer.

    Go to Organize/Layout and make sure Navigation Pane is selected.
