I am working with a computer right now which has a seemingly locked function key. It will type numbers for those virtual keypad numbers. Anyone know how to fix this? I need to know ASAP, because I leave this computer in a few hours.

I am typing while holding the function key now.

What laptop do you have? The Numlock should be sharing a spot with a letter/symbol

Well, it works now. Yet, there is no NumLock key! If i figure out what I did, I will tell you. I checked every key for the numlock action, mostly because I was curious to where it is.

Looks like it was FN + Scroll Lock.

What kind of laptop is it so I can take note of this for future reference?
