I am very sorry for the length of this post. I really need your help on this matter. Any suggestion will be greatly appreciated.
I bought the above laptop from Amazon exactly 30 days ago. Today, as I was surfing the web at around 10 pm, I pushed a quick launch touch button to enable the subwoofer. As soon as I touched that touch sensing button, I noticed the light on the button for wireless connection went off. So I tried, in vain, to get the buttons to work, for none of them responded any more. However, although the light on the button for wireless connection was off, the wireless connection was not disabled.
For the next few minutes, I tried to restart my laptop a few times, adjusting the settings each time, and so on, but none worked. So googled this problem and found the suggestion that It might make the buttons work again if I removed the battery and unplugged the power cable, thus resetting the laptop. And that's exactly what I did.
Upon doing that and restarting the computer, I was no longer able to enable wireless connection, by any means. I tried everything. So I had no choice but to resort to system restore, to an earlier period.
After restoring the pc, I could no longer boot into windows. The error message told me that the recovery file was corrupted. There is only one last option left for me, which is system recovery.
After the recovery was completed, everything having been wiped clear off the HDD, I still can't enable wireless connection, and the touch sensing buttons still refused to work.
What can I do?
