Windows 7 How to Rearm / Activate for 120 days
I suggest getting windows 7 ultimate as it has AppLocker.
After the end of the 3rd rearm period (=120 days), it will require a reinstall

Remember to be as close to the 30 day deadline as possible before you do each rearm so as to get the maximum number of days of un-activated use.

I actually have 3 licenses of Win 7 but I tend to reinstall every 90-ish days anyway. I have found that Windows activation is a pain now with Windows 7 so I may just do this. Thanks for the tip

If you have your copy of Windows activated already, why not just back up the activation when you reformat, and re-apply it? There's a link to a program to do that in the legal Windows ISO download thread in this forum.

Does it work if I change the HDD?
Does it work with imaging the win 7 install? Ie. I have win 7 activated and happy, I back it up via some imaging software, then my win 7 install gets screwed up by malware so I "roll back" using the backed up image --- I dont have to activate win 7 again by calling MS? -
You make calling Microsoft sound as painful as a root canal. The call is really simple, it's handled by an automated robot, and you just say or type a sequence of numbers and it gives you a sequence back. That's it. 5 minutes maximum.

The ABR tool only works with OEM Windows 7.

And only with BRANDED OEM, not the whitebox unbranded license you can buy from local build-it-yourself shop.
Use Windows 7 for 120 days LEGALLY without a key
