    i was wondering i know how to change the avatar but was wondering what size can the avatar be at max? is it 100 x 100?

    what? ya mistaken. i mean in XP with the username Avatar how big can they be.

    yeah thats the one, 48 48 is there anyway to make it bigger? coz thats really small

    Possibly with 'resource hacker'... I don't have a link handy, but there is a really good guide to altering the boot screen and login screen with it on google somewhere. I didn't try changing the avatar (since I use the classic login screen, so don't use them), but there might be a way :) .

    Thanks guys, I hope you have luck with it. Mine worked like a charm following it :). I was amazed seeing all the dialogs and screens that are alterable, once you know where to find them! ;) I'm glad the poster on that site took the time to give such great instructions.
