I went into my users drive in my C drive and changed the properties to show hidden files. instead it ended up changing my users file into a Jscript Script file... I have no idea how to change it back. Does anyone know what is going on?

We would first have to figure out what you did. There's no "users drive", although there is usually a Users folder on your system drive. I assume that is the one you've been messing around with. Second, whether or not hidden files are shown is not a folder property, it's a setting in Windows Explorer. My guess is you checked the Hidden box in the Users folder property sheet, which hides this folder, and all of its subfolders if you so choose. So you pretty much achieved the opposite of what you wanted. I have no idea what the deal with the Jscript file is. That should not be possible, but who knows what else you have done.

In any case, open Windows Explorer, click on "Organize", then "Folder and Search Options", "View" tab, and check "Show hidden files, folders...". Close and then reopen Windows Explorer, and you should now see your Users folder (yoiur desktop icons should be back, too, albeit dimmed, to indicate they're hidden). Now just undo the damage you have done.

Remember to unhide all the files and folders. otherwise as you send them out etc they may not be seen, or possibly even sent, to others.
