My Laptop Compaq CQ61 Shipped with Windows 7 Home premium 32bit Version. lately i upgrade it's memory to 4GB. to utilize all the 4GB memory i need windows 7 64bit OS. so, is it possible to use my OEM product key (came with the laptop) for 32bit Home premium to activate 64bit windows 7. second, is it possible to request a Windows 7 64 bit DVD from HP Support. Thanks!... :D

it is possible to do so..just use the CD key you have and reactivate it once you finish installing the windows

also that..you can try download windows 7 ISO from digital river and then burn it to your DVD and flash drive

but do you know the procedure for r-activating again? i already got a Windows 7 ultimate x64 OEM DVD which shipped with another HP Desktop, do you think that i can use that DVD to install and Activate using 32Bit key? or.. should i reconfigure the iso to remove ei.cfg and use that to install?

    Do this.

If the disc you are using did not need any key when installed on that desktop, it doesn't need key when you install it on the laptop either. Just choose the version you want and go :)
