I've switched from using the K-Lite codec pack to CCCP and CoreAVC (figured i'd try something new, even if it does cost me £9.43). I followed this link Using CCCP with CoreAVC but now I seem to of ran into a problem, for all my .MP4/.OGG files none of them are displaying thumbnails (they just show a white square instead of a screen from the movie, AVI's are totally fine.
I found this on the CCCP wiki Issues:Thumbnails/Previews for MKV/MP4/OGM but having done what it suggested thumbnails still aren't displayed.
So does anyone use CCCP and CoreAVC and has ran into the same problem?

Hmm.. I'm running the latest CCCP. My MP4 files have thumbnails, but I haven't done anything..Last edited by a moderator: Jan 29, 2015 -
Yeah I got the latest CCCP pack (Combined-Community-Codec-Pack-2009-09-09) from the website today and then during the setup I ticked "enable Thumbnails"
I've tried uninstalling both programs and then re-installing but I had the same issue. Maybe this is a sign lol! -
Ok, new approach...K-Lite and CoreAVC, possible? If so does anyone have an instillation guide or something that I can follow to make sure I get the correct settings etc
Thanks
Btw, if anyone's interested, I still can't get a thumbnail picture for .OGG and .MP4 files using CCCP and CoreAVC -
K-lite sucks for watching Anime, stick with CCCP and CoreAVC it's well worth it.
