I have a Vista x64 key on the bottom of my laptop however when I try to use it with my Vista DVD it says it's not Valid. Is there a certain DVD that I must use in order to use this key (Other than system restore disc cause that's not an option for me)?

OEM disk from another system? then there might be an issue. You can always call in, free, and they can walk you through.

    cheers ...
