I'm pretty much a noob at regedit. So I was looking in RegEdit and I noticed in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE>SOFTWARE, I had old apps I used to have but I don't have no more like bittorent, apple inc, hp stuff, etc. Is it ok to delete the entire folder of the app. I don't have anymore? Also, is there anywhere else in regedit where I can clean?

if you're not familiar with RegEdit, get a program called CCleaner, it will scan your registry for you and clean it.
But I believe yes, you can delete the entire folder of the app. -
i already use ccleaner, doesnt clean that out. i also use revouninstaller to uninstall now, but i only used it recently(few months ago) i uninstalled a lot of stuff before that. so i was wondering if i can do that manually since i dont want to reinstall the apps i deleted and use revo to uninstall it.

If you are not sure just back up before delete the entire folder.
And from my experience, Revo Uninstaller does not uninstall everything. -
i just did a test. dled an app. uninstalled it with revo. left a key there, then ran ccleaner and it all gone. so i answered my question i guess and haokepa. use revo to uninstall it then do registry scan on ccleaner and you're good to go. thanks guys.
