This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    I was just wondering if there is a method to using the Inspiron 1520 media buttons with other applications. I was interested in using them with VLC Media Player and Winamp. If anyone could help me out, it would be much appreciated.

    Old thread, but I was wondering the exact same thing. Maybe firefox for example....
