Ever since I did a system recovery, ive had issues with utorrent. ive even downgraded to earlier versions and after running for afew minutes it causes my windows bar at the bottom to go away. after that happens I cannot open up internet explorer or other programs. even if I get the start button to pop up and hit restart or shutdown it wont. I have to power down with the power button and start back up all over again. this didnt happen before I did system recovery. what do i need to look for ?

Is explorer running in the Task Manager? When this happens, hit CTRL+ALT+DEL, New Task, type in 'explorer.exe' and see what happens.

I have no issues with the latest utorrent. Your issue sounds more like a failed system recovery.

I did a recovery off the partition. and apparently there is still some glitches on the computer. I want to wipe my hard drive 100% and do a recovery from the discs that i ordered. I tried that DBAN wipe, but i get afew errors. it wont go through the process. it worked fine on XP laptops though. Im running windows 7. I cant find the tool in bios to format the hard drive completely. I would rather wipe the hard drive 100% outside of windows incase i got some kind of worm.
