This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    VISTA (64) - "Open Favorite Links Folder" does nothing - help

    ..And one day, all my favorite links were gone. I use this feature frequently (when opening music directories in winamp, for example), and it is painful to not have. I have no idea when it stopped working, but now when I right click the navigati area in "open file" and select "open favorite links folder", nothing happens (ditto for "restore default favorite links" - could it be that i've unknowingly deleted the "favorite links" folder and need to replace it in order for this to work? Can anyone help? Thanks!

    Try going to C:\users\$username$\Links folder and see if there is anything there or if it is even there.
