    Ok my searching skills are horrible. I tried on the forums and google but no luck so Im going to turn to the experts here.

    I go into Windows Defender and go to the start/stop startup programs and turned off most of the ones that I dont want to load on startup, but there are some like Apple Quicktime and one of the Dell startups that wont give me the option to turn them off. Other than deleting them does anyone know a workaround?

    Inspiron 1705
    Vista Premium
    I can list the hardware if needed

    Start->Run->msconfig

    You can turn off startup programs there too.

    Man I forgot Vista had that. I was just in msconfig on one of our video editing computers today. I miss the little run box from XP!
