    VLC Audio playback Clipping.. Need Alternatives

    hey guys...

    got some problem with VLC player


    i watch lot of sitcoms on computer on VLC.. and i noticed during action scenes or heavy background music the Audio clips only on VLC player.

    i tried 3 different usb soundcards but the problem is isolated to VLC player and not WMP .

    but as u know WMP is laggy and has its own issues.

    so can u recommend me a good Player.

    also, i need some Audio plugins for enjoying surround sound effects.. any plugins?
