What's the situation with the boot to MediaDirect button working with Vista? Or the camera button on the M1210? I'm not sure what would bug me more, still being on XP in a year or having buttons on my computer that no longer work :p . Also if anyone has a link to a how-to guide on upgrading and not losing the MediaDirect partition I would appreciate it.

    Thanks!

I had Xp installed with Media Direct 3 and just wrote Vista to the XP partition. Everything still works fine.

When I tried this with MD2 however, I had all kinds of problems. Basically my storage partition kept ebing un-recognized by windows. Even if had Vista repartition the space, on the next reset, it was gone again. Never had this problem with MD3 though.
