This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    ViStumbler a virus? (or false-positive)

    Hey guys/gals,

    I just D/L'd and used ViStumbler (which uses AutoIt3 macro utility) a few days ago. Today I was cleaning up my downloads folder and I moved it's folder into another and I got this message:
    Code: 
    Virus or unwanted program 'BDC/Funpic.A [backdoor]'
detected in file 'D:\Downloads\AA - Utilties\VistumblerMDB\Export.exe.
Action performed: Move file to quarantine
    Is this anything to worry about, or just a false-positive?

    Downloaded Vistumblerinstaller8.1.exe from Sourceforge.
    Uploaded to Virustotal and the report showed warnings only from 4 security programs. Jotti's malware scan came up clean completely.
    I'd say a false positive.
