I recently bought a web cam (Logitech QuickCam Ultra Vision) for my home PC and I have one integrated on my laptop (HP dv9620us).
I bought them because I am away from home 4 days and 3 nights a week and figured it would be nice to have the ability to speak with my kids face to face daily.
I am trying to choose which Video Calling service to use and figured the gamers would know best about this.
I am trying to choose between Skype, Windows Live Messenger, Yahoo Messenger, or AOL Instant Messenger.
Which one provides the best service....any help is appreciated
    Thanks

Just when you think you've narrowed it down....the list gets bigger...arrrgh..

    Thanks again

just make sure what ever program you use works before you leave. i couldn't get my webcam to work with msn but it did work with aim. so just do a quick test before hand. i'm gonna guess since your name is caddteach you teach autocad? where do you teach

haha no I'm neither the letter j or a dog lol, just a nickname, given to me by my friends as a joke.

I'm on long island, by Babylon. i;m enrolled at N.Y.I.T. in the 5 year architecture program. im working at an engineering firm right now, until i can get a job at an architecture firm. its funny after using cad for 3 years, you start using cad commands in other programs only to find them not working lol. i only use space bar in cad to enter commands, and i constantly find my self hitting space bar in other programs, only it find nothings happening.

Are you from Long Island.....I spent most of my life there....Lake Ronkonkoma, Holbrook, Bay Shore, Shirley, Farmingville, Centereach and a short two months in Babylon...I moved around alot.
I really miss it.....the food, the people, the ocean...just get so much more for your buck in Massachusetts...so I moved....but man do I miss my home...if you can afford to stay....there's no place like it
