Does anyone know if there's a safe place I can download all the video codecs for windows10? I just installed Windows10 but my AfterEffect can't read some of my videos. :( It is working fine in my Windows7.
Not quiet remember but i think @Phoenix had something to download for codecs on his old Software list thread?

    K-Lite Codec Pack Mega

Make sure to unselect any toolbars or what not if it offers you to, don't blindly click NEXT

PS: Don't ever come near the Shark007 Codec Pack, that's a virus that will wreck your PC and make it FUBAR.

By default Windows or Windows store provides no codec that is up to the user to find and use them. So what video or file are you trying to play will determine what codec you will need. I use one site but when installing the codec you choose "custom" because close to final install there is a ad box that shows up where you "decline" that offer and continue the install and everything work fine.
