This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Does anyone know of any free online programs that i can use to convert an AVI video to a DVD format that i can use in a consumer dvd player? I've tried looking around, but can only find lite trial versions that don't allow me to do anything significant.

    Any ideas would be appreciated. I think i can put them into that Windows movie maker, export as a compatible file, then burn it, but that seems like a lot of unnecessary work.

    Or if anyone can recommend a cheap alternative that i can pick up as best buy or something that would also be great.
