Ok, sorry if this question is stupid but i am just learning here

if i click on the Nividia control pannel, under system information, it says forceware 156.65

Now what puzzle me is that i have just installed from laptopvideo2go the rev 169.12 !!!

Why is it still showing 156.65 on the nvidia control pannel ? I did the installation exactly as it is suppose to by copying the inf file into the 169.12 folder and then, i did a driver update from the device manager.

Where should i look to see if the 169.12 has really been installed ?

    thanks a 1000 times.

Don't use the 169.xx but 174.74 or 167.62 (in case of instability)

Use the build-in installer with the drivers, not the device managers, it tends to not work correctly

Dont look at the driver list. The forum is the place to look for the drivers.

Doesn't matter. Just uninstall the old driver, reboot and then install the new one.
