    Video chating via mac and pc

    I was wondering what software i should use in order to do a video and audio chat from a mac to a pc. Thanks

    Skype ?
    Both versions (for Mac and PC) are available.

    Ya... but skype only does video calls right?... not really video chating. Right?

    I am not sure if I understood you properly (maybe I could help you if you told me the difference between video calls and video chatting) ;)
    If you would like to chat with unknown people, just go and visit some online Chat Room with cameras anabled. Skype allows you to use your voice (by microphone), eyes (camera) and touch (when you are using your keyboard).

    Skype is a phone-like service. He wants to know if there's a way to do a relay-chat a la AIM. More specifically, he probably wants to know if there's an iChat-like program for PC.

    I'm not sure, but YahooMessenger might solve your problem. I know that the PC version is video-chat enabled, but I don't know about the Mac version (haven't tried YM on Mac since 2001).
