    Video codec help!

    Argh! This problem is driving me crazy...

    I've k-lite mega codec pack 3.6.5 will everything it offered installed but i still can't get one of my video play. Its a DVDRip.XviD.AC3.avi format.

    I received this error saying "Media Player Classic could not render some of the pins in the graph, you may not have the needed codecs or filters installed on the system" and with the following report.

    Could be a bad rip, check other reviews from the place where you got the file.

    Really?... urghhhh because i could play the video one time then my system screw up and did a lot random things to get it back working... can't pinpoint what i did though....

    Now only GOM player will be able to play it but i prefer to use media classic and i only want to keep 1 media player.

    Remember i used to have multiple codec pack installed... which is not good i heard.

    If it played once then it is probably not a bad rip, but still check other reviewers. You could try uninstalling media player classic + the codecs and then reinstalling them.

    Recommend that aswell... I had a similar issue but it also included not just codec errors but no online play as well as video speed issues

    Try uninstalling and reinstall the full package! BE sure to remove any leftover (registry keys, temp files etc.)

    Incredible! It works! I did clean reinstall countless time be4 but still no luck! But now it just works!

    Man i hate windows... lol

    Thanks for all you guys effort i am greatly appreciate!

    Sometimes clean install is the only solution

    instead of hating windows, maybe you shouldn't load your computer full of codec packs which are notorious for sneaking in malware.

    and if you did a clean install multiple times before and STILL had the problem, then it's obviously user error.

    Errhh K-lite does NOT contain spyware :confused:
