some work OK but some videos, like from NFL.com, freeze up on FireFox. Is there any way to improve?

Which version of Firefox are you using? Have you tried reinstalling the Flash plugin?

You can do it through your Control Panel and Uninstall programs. Then when you try to view the sites it will prompt you to install it.

Other ideas would be to use different profiles while running Firefox, something may have gotten messed up or conflicting.
