I have an Nvidia Quadro FX 570M, 4GB Ram and a 2.4ghz core 2 duo processor on my laptop.
When I try to watch online videos in full screen the videos will lag and freeze even though the audio will continue to play. When the video freezes and I exit from full screen the video will instantly catch back up to the video and continue to play. I thought it might of been an internet connection problem but I have waited for the videos to completely load before viewing them and they still lag and freeze. I have also tried multiple internet connections with the same problem on every one. I don't know where to go next so I need some help.

What website and what internet browser?
Also, try using a different browser and see if there is any difference. -
have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling flash?
-
Have you updated your video drivers?
-
Flash hardware acceleration is still very sketchy, some sites run fine and some run like a bag of crap.

When you watch these videos is your laptop sitting in your lap? All of my laptops tend to run very hot when watching online videos and will cause a problem similar to what you described. I solved the problem by just sitting the laptop on a little metal stand.

The lag happens with pretty much all sites with varying degrees but the worst site I have found is on Hulu. Whenever I am on Hulu it looks like I am only running at 15-20fps and it tends to freeze every once in awhile. I use firefox but I tried using internet explorer and the lag seemed to but cut in half am first but after a few videos it started to get as bad as Firefox. I reinstalled my flash player and I also updated my Nvidia Quadro 570 FX card but I still have the same performance issues. I use my laptop on my desk.

Thats the driver's problem for sure. I used to had same problems. I used 179.48 nvidia drivers and everything was fine. Try installing 179.48 drivers.

Sorry, should of specified, I am using Windows XP (179.48 nvidia driver only works with 32 Vista). I did go to Nvidia's website and when I do the auto detect it gives me driver "Quadro FX Release 185 for Notebooks Version: 185.85 Release Date: May 7, 2009" but when I go to install it, it starts to load but then I get the error message: The Nvidia setup program could not locate any drivers that are compatible with your current hardware. According to system hardware devices I currently have driver version 6.14.11.7874 from 1/14/2009.
I have also tried loading the individual drivers using the manual searches but all of them give me the same error message. -

Try laptopvideo2go and their drivers. I don't know whether they're for the workstation line of GPUs though
