I installed Vista RC2 build 5744 and i went to the nvidia website and downloaded the drivers for vista x64 cuz i have a amd turion64 x2 (Averatec 2370) laptop and plus cuz the vista is the x64 version.
However durring installation of the driver, it gives me a fatal error which says
"You are running a 32 bit version of Nvidia uninstaller on a 64 bit system (Binary Type I386)
Wrong Version of Uninstaller. Uninstaller exits now"
then it gives me another error saying
"Setup has detected that the operating system in use is not Windows Vista [64bit]. This setup program and its associated drivers are designed to run on only on Windows Vista [64bit]. The installation will now be terminated"
So i tried downloading the x84 drivers then it says my platform isnt windows vista.
so im stuck without a video driver.. help

Had same problem, had to download the beta drivers and replace the .inf so it would work. http://www.laptopvideo2go.com has all the info on where and why this is. It took me 4 differant drivers but finally the 9727 for Vista x64 worked. I have the same computer Averatec 2370 and I'm lovin it. (Get it on Black Friday?) Aero is great looking and I really havent noticed a performance drop because of it. http://www.averatecforums.com is a great resource too, cuz there tech support is HORRIBLE
