Hi there,
I didn't know where else to put this, so I've put it in the Off-topic section. (Mods, please feel free to move if you find somewhere more suitable for it).
I have two monitors, the laptop monitor and an LCD Tv.
I have a VGA-VGA cable and have split the screen into dual monitors (so I can drag and slide windows between the two views accordingly).
How can I use my laptop monitor to sort photos etc... but use the LCD Tv (secondary monitor) to view the slideshow on?
If I click "view as slideshow" (with the window on the secondary monitor), it still displays the slideshow on my primary monitor (laptop).
Thanks in advance,
Yours,
Amnesia

Nope, unless you make your LCD TV your primary monitor, it won't work. Same goes if you are watching a video/movie or playing a fullscreen game.

Thanks for your reply, and how would I go about making the TV the Primary Monitor? Is there a simple button I can press?
Thanks,

It's nVidia
It's a GeForce GO7300 and my laptop is an Acer Aspire 5330 (I think). -

Oh great. You should be able to use nView Manager while the slideshow is running to make it switch monitors!

You may want to try this...
Reduce the size of your application (ie. not full screen, but windowed) Drag the window into your secundary monitor. Make it full screen there. You should now (hopefully) see your slideshow on the secundary monitor. -
I'll try these outs this evening after work.
Viewing a slideshow on secondary monitor?
