So I installed AIM, which installed Viewpoint Media Player. I uninstalled the program, and then managed to remove the Viewpoint Manager link on the Control Panel. All that's left is the Viewpoint folder in Program Files. When I try to delete this folder, or any of its contents, I get the message:
"Destination Folder Access Denied - You need permission to perform this action."
I can hit "Try Again," but nothing happens. This occurs with and without UAC. What am I messing up on, or is this folder actually somehow a crucial part of my system, and I'd be stupid to delete it?

Vista control problems. You need to get the program unlocker or use Winbubble to add the "take control" option to your context menu.

I downloaded Winbubble, and checked off "Add Take Control". I restarted, right click the folder, and it's not an option. I checked Winbubble again, and the option is still checked.

Installed Unlocker. At first, it kept giving an "Error Debug Priviliges" message until I set it to run as an administrator. Tried deleting the folder again, said it couldn't but would try at reboot. Rebooted immediately, the folder is no longer there! Thanks.
