    Virtual PC Low Resolution

    Hi,
    I've been using Virtual PC for a while... I wanted to install vmadditions so that i can share folders. However, everytime i install it the resolution drops to 800x600 and its only 4 bit color. any idea why? i can't find a solution anywhere else...

    hmm maybe the VMAdditions has some compatibility issues with XP SP3 :rolleyes2:

    Try a older version guys it might work

    What is the host and guest OS? I am running Vista Ultimate as a host and XP as a guest with the VMadditions. If you right click on the guest OS desktop and select Personalize | Display Settings (if the guest OS is Vista) or Properties | Settings (if the guest OS is XP) are you able to adjust the color depth and resolution? Or are you saying the only options there are 800x600 at 4bit?
