So I have vista and im really happy with having an external screen...
But lately ive been wanting to try out some new cool stuff like VMware/Parallels on my MacBook and all...

Which brings me to a brilliant idea of... 2 systems on my notebook which in return allows me to run BOTH at once, one on my laptops screen and one on my external monitor...

I could just use a key combination or just drag the mouse over so I can control them both...
I want to run Vista & Windows 7 Beta (Possibly Linux someday or whatever)

    How can I achieve this?

Whatever your VMM happens to be (VMWare, for instance), simply drag it to the monitor of your choice, set the guest OS to fullscreen, and you should be done. The VMM should launch there each time (at least on Windows it will).

    VMWare works on WINDOWS?!

I am confused now... but it makes perfect sense asides that I just know of VMWare being for OS X (please let it be for both windows AND OS X so I dont need to buy 2 licenses)

VMWare Fusion runs under Mac OSX, but sadly isn't free. VMWare Server runs under Windows, and is free. But you can't (legally at least) run OSX in a virtual environment.

I like using VMWare Fusion over VMWare Server since it is easier to setup.

    Yeah I knew that
But I never knew its free for windows... ill check it out

Im aiming at running Vista and Windows 7 at the same time... not OS X, thats why I have a MacBook haha

Whats the fastest, easiest virtualization software for Windows, Mac and both?

And I think this didnt get answered but can I use VMware MAC on PC too? like the same key and dvd?
