I see alot of Ads about Vista on the Net, TV, and Retail.

Alot of Ads focus on Vista makes Business better or more productive.

What do you guys think? Is Vista better at being productive or is this mostly just marketing?

I been using Vista alot for the last 3 - 4 months, but I haven't use it for anything of real purpose yet. I always boot back too XP to do what I normally do business wise. Office 2007 might change that tho, as I only have it installed on Vista. I love Office 2007 :D

Also if all my drivers worked perfectly then I wouldn't be so hesitant to use Vista as my main OS, but I had Vista complete die on me a couple times after installing certain drivers. Like my BT dongle etc:

Whether Student or Working .....does Vista help you better than XP? (Driver problem aside)

I say it makes people less productive for the moment since they have to learn how to use it. Unless you have a specific need or can get it cheap, Office is way overpriced.

What do you need for good buisness productivity? Office, good security and battery life. XP does all of that, and its very simple to use, and its very good in terms of security, and office XP and 2003 are great.

Vista is expensive, slow, and confusing, and the various driver problems make it unideal at the moment in my opinion.
