Found a fix to the problem, check in my last post.
Hey! New here..
I've got a very annoying problem, so i'll go right ahead and explain. The problem is that when i run dualview (made all settings through nview) and closes the lid on the laptop, it makes my external monitor as primary and shuts the laptop-screen off completely, why!?
I've set the option for lid-closing to "do nothing", but it turns my laptop-screen off anyways!! I can't even force nview to find my laptop screen, it won't show.
If i open the lid again on the lappy, nothing happens, my laptop screen won't power up at all.
It takes a reboot for the computer to get back to normal, and it boots up fine with the dualview settings enabled.
It's so **** annoying to have this problem as i use my external monitor for watching movies, all the time. And i don't wanna have my laptop screen on/the lid open and running when i don't surf the web when i watch a movie on the other screen, i just wanna close the lid and want the computer to do nothing at all.
I've seen many other people that have had some kind of problem related to the lid getting closed when using dual view on vista, messing up the screen/s. This problem doesn't exist in XP/XP MCE at all.
I've tryed changing drivers and looking for more power-options that relates to the lid getting closed, also searched google and alot of forums for an easy fix to this. The only answer i've seen is to set dual view in nview and not in vistas own app for dualview, but that won't help me. I guess i'm just no good at searching for a solution.
It just have to be a fix somewhere that i've missed or any other solution as the problem just is that the computer won't do as you set it to do when closing the lid.
I would appreciate all help i could get and hear if there's more that has any kind of problem that relates to closing the lid in vista using dualview!
Have a nice day!
Regards
Michel K

Ok i found a fix on my own, atlast! Thank god it works like a charm now.
This fix is for EVERYONE that runs Vista on their laptop and have any kind of problem closing their lid, like my problem was. Works like a charm and could never have thought that this would do the trick.
Now when i close the lid it just powers of the screen like normal and turns on when opens and all this without messing with the settings i've done to my screens, like it've should have done from the beginning like in XP.
