Hi.
I've just installed the Nokia PC Suite, I know it doesn't say it supports Vista but I'm giving it a shot anyway cause I need to transfer stuff from my Nokia N70 to my SZ4.
Everything appears to work fine up until when I try to connect to my phone. It discovers it as a Bluetooth phone but when I try to authenticate it (pair them up), it just does nothing and tries for ages. My phone doesn't come up with anything. See image attachment.
Anybody know or heard or had experience with this before?
Thanks for any help. Worked fine back then on my XP.![]()
Oh and I think it said that the softwares supports that Toshiba stack thing (what's that again? I don't quite get it, is an application or a driver or what?)

you may need to turn on "discovery" while you pair your phone with your computer.
Go to bluetooth devices > options then click on the "Allow Blutetooth devices to find this computer" check box.
Then click on the devices tab, press and press "Add" to bring up the bluetooth add device wizard.
There is probably some sort of setting on your phone that allows you to put it in "discovery" mode as well. I would be sure that is turned on during the pairing process.
I never used bluetooth in XP, so I don't know is this is any different. Good luck. -
Where would I find this Bluetooth device menu thing?
I have enabled 'discovery' on my N70 when I turned on my bluetooth. It can see it on Vista/PC Suite just won't pair up.
I could use my Desktop XP but I really wanted to get this sorted or to get down to the root of the problem.
Thanks for the help though. -
