    G'day

I just bought a laptop after reading what all of you have had to say about everything there is to know about notebooks. One thing I would like to know is what everyones favorite novely programs are for Vista... (i.e. SETI Monitor, or a Married With Children quote of the day program etc...). Thought it might be a good way for people to share some of their enjoyable PC moments with people.

    Peace

    Jordan

From my experiences w/ Vista, I'd recommend against the novelty programs and keep as many resources available for the RAM-hungry beast that is Vista! ;)

unused ram is dead ram! vista will release any system ram that can be spared (including the so.called hogged ram) if any process/app needs it

    cheers ...

u might want to try them under xp compatible mode. Most of the time xp apps would work without making modifications. take a look at vista compatible apps thread and add yours in there if they work. not all users using same apps in all platforms. just simple try it

    cheers ...
