OK, here the scoop. FYI, this pertains to my desktop, but it is still relevant here.

Bottom line is my mobo cannot run RAID 1 in Vista, which it can in XP. Don't know why, neither Intel nor Asus have figured it out yet. (At least they don't have the normal drivers for it).

    So, here is my question.

For those of you with Windows Vista Business, have you used the backup function before? If so, how has it worked for you?

I am running a dual boot of XP and Vista, so I can run my RAID 1 through XP and it works for whatever reason, but I may be making the full switch to Vista in the near future and I'll have to drop RAID 1.

So, I'd like to do my automatic backups with the Vista back up and restore center which seems to be pretty good, but I just want to get some user feedback on it.

    Thanks in advance!
