    Yep, get Business x64.
    2GB/4GB is upto you. A 2GB DDR3-1066 module from Crucial will cost you around $70.

    That would be a very good idea. If you're going to have a 64bit OS, then you might as well have 4GB of RAM to take advantage of that. It's also a LOT cheaper to upgrade the RAM yourself then it is to get it from the manufacturer

    Hmm. Lenovo doesn't provide an option for Vista Ultimate x64. That kinda stinks.

    Even though it's an OEM licence, can I use the serial key for the 32-bit version of ultimate for a clean install of Ultimate 64-bit (assuming that I can obtain the 64-bit disks)?

    Yes, the serial is interchangeable along the bit versions.
