looking like that m$ is determined to win the war on hacked vista versions. Still i hope that they can come up with a better of doing this -
same rule overall, we r paying the price of some rotten apples,
still i wonder myself if even offering vista at a reasonable price would do any good, since everyone has a different opinion as what is fair as far as dolling out $$$ is concerned - and the philosophy of hacking is always tempting

2 weeks later a new hack and timer lock for thos who refuse to activate.
1 1/2 months later a new WGA update.
1 weeks later a new hack.
3 weeks later a new WGA update.
2 days later the same previous hack still works.
5 months later SP1 update
3 weeks later the same as above repeats over & over. -
And next week, another hijacked version with SP1,2,3, etc floating the market.....

"..
.. reported that Microsoft had updated Windows XP's Windows Genuine Advantage (WGA) software. Unfortunately, Windows Vista's version of WGA is very similar to the flawed Windows XP version. And so, Windows Vista may prompt users to activate Windows Vista when they do simple things not requiring activation, such as swap out a small piece of hardware (such as a DVD burner or a gigabyte of RAM). Thankfully, Windows Vista doesn't seem to report a genuine copy of Windows Vista as pirated, like the flawed version of XP WGA did.

Well, good intentions...but when your friendly super moderator was accused of using a non-genuine copy of Vista...
Just think...that means the store I purchased it from is selling illegal copies! Wow...I didn't think it was illegal to pay to use software... -
It is if Microsoft says it is...
They're nice like that.
