    Hi,

i bought an HP 8510p with only FreeDos. Then i installed my Student 32bit Vista Business version. The Student version has a limited 30 day keys and then you have to activate it over a University server.

The Error occured when i tried to activate Vista. I always get an 0xC004F059 Error. Looked on the University homepage and it said it is standard error. The error occurs always when a notebook doesn't allow to install Vista. Sadly the university people didn't post a solution to the problem. And i also can't find a soulution how to activate Vista.

Have updated my BIOS to the newest Version but that also didn't help. Reinstalled also.

    Please help.

    Thx

    Cu
